The world's leading plastics and rubber trade fair Chinaplas returns following the nation's reopening to highlight innovative plastics solutions and relevant market trends at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center, Guangzhou province, expecting more than 20,000 international visitors during the four-day event.

Welcoming about 4,000 local and overseas exhibitors, Chinaplas 2023 will host numerous events to allow participants from various backgrounds explore the latest products and solutions, connect with experts, and learn the future development of the plastics and rubber industries that will cover the global trends and policies of plastics recycling in China and Asia.

China's total production of plastic products amounted to 80 million metric tons in 2021, an increase of 5.27% from the previous year. This accounts for nearly one third of global plastic production, meaning its market is still potential to rebound and grow despite the sluggish growth in 2022.  Picking up the opportunities initiated by China through the trade fair, Stavian Chemical is highlighting its 'One-Stop Shop' solution as a connector that partly contributes to the global plastic industry recovery. Headquartered in Hanoi, Vietnam, Stavian Chemical now has two offices in Shanghai and Guangzhou with a team full of plastic veterans, who deeply understand the local market and global resources, and a strong Southeast Asian network to support Chinese clients.

"China is the largest producer of plastics, so this trade fair's comeback creates opportunities for all partners. As a leading chemical distributor in the Asia-Pacific region, we are proud to showcase our 'One-Stop Shop' solution at the Chinaplas 2023. Stavian Chemical presents to support Chinese partners to connect oil refineries and chemical manufacturers with hundreds of thousands of plastic manufacturers, complemented by our logistic networks and competitive pricing to ensure sustainable growth for each partner," said a representative of Stavian Chemical.

The 'One-Stop Shop' solution, comprising 12 specific business solutions, from in-depth customer-centricity advisory and financial support to warehousing and customs handling and clearing, provides a world-class full-service package for Stavian Chemical's customers and partners. This is in addition to the company's strategic relationships with the oil and gas conglomerates, top global multi-industrial corporations, and its decades of expertise in the logistics industry.

It is worth mentioning that China is part of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) trade bloc that includes 10 ASEAN member states, South Korea, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand. Businesses in the RCEP region will now benefit from tariff elimination on more than 90% of goods over time. These products range from plastics and mineral fuel to miscellaneous food preparations and beverages, and other chemical products.

"Chinaplas 2023 will serve as a gateway for China and RCEP businesses in the plastic industry and Stavian Chemical has been ready to connect each partner with premium quality polymers from China, Vietnam, South Korea, and other countries that are priced competitively. We have also developed a bonded warehouse ecosystem in China and the Asian region to ensure effective logistics, timing and cost efficiency not only in the regional market but also for our clients worldwide that will allow the industry to recover and achieve sustainable growth," said a Stavian Chemical representative.

Proving its value to Chinese and Asian clients in general, Stavian Chemical delivers innovative and sustainable solutions for customers and partners while maximizing values and prosperity for all stakeholders. In 2022, the company developed a network of nearly 30 offices and 40 warehouses across the globe that served more than 14,000 customers in over 100 countries, resulting in revenues growth of US$1.3 billion.
